BSHS Auditorium Renaming & Revitalization
On November 14, 2023, the Hillsborough County School Board unanimously approved the naming of Bloomingdale Senior High School’s auditorium to the ‘Sutherland Hall for Performing Arts' in memory of Beverly "Bev" Sutherland.
​
The School district of Hillsborough County is appropriating funds for improvements to our auditorium to coincide with the new naming. Upon the completion of these improvements, an official dedication of Sutherland Hall will be held to mark the future of the performing arts at BSHS, highlight the refreshed hall and, of course, the legacy of Bev Sutherland.
