Music Department Travel
The Bloomingdale Music Department travels together to participate in various festivals/parades almost every year! This is a wonderful experience that allows students to expand both their worldview and musical prowess.

Every four years, we may even get the opportunity to travel internationally!

AUSTRIA & PRAGUE
SPRING 2019
Over Spring Break 2019, Bloomingdale traveled to the magnificent Austria and Czech Republic.
We visited iconic locations such as the Schönbrunn Palace, the Haus Der Musik, the ÄŒeský Krumlov Castle, the Karlštejn Castle, and marched the streets of Vienna and Prague.
ROME
NEW YEARS 2014-2015
In December 2014, we traveled from Tampa to Italy to participate in the Rome New Year's Day Parade. We also had the opportunity to perform at the Frascati Street Show and Festival.

The students were able to experience such sights as the Colosseum, Vatican City, the Sistine Chapel, and the ruins of Pompeii.
LONDON
NEW YEARS 2010-2011
In December 2010, the Bloomingdale Music department made our first trip overseas together!
We traveled from Tampa to London, where we were able to not only tour the various historical sites, but also perform in the London New Year’s Day Parade!
